POSITION: Part-Time Concession Cashier DEPARTMENT: Food and Beverage REPORTS TO: Concessions Manager FLSA STATUS: Hourly/Part-time/Non-exempt Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Takes guests’ food orders, assembles order, and cashes out the transaction using the POS system. Handles credit card transactions while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures at all times, ringing all sales into the register. Maintain safe working conditions and sanitary work area. Establish and maintain positive client relationships. Other duties may be assigned. Must have basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures. Must have basic math skills. Must have a pleasant personality and a neat appearance. Must have strong customer service skills. Must be able to stand for duration of shift. Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands, frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events. Must be able to prepare food properly in compliance with menu items. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred. One year of customer service and cashier experience. Physical Demands: This position requires stooping and lifting, substantial standing and walking. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. to the waist.
