SUMMARY

Ashton Potter is currently in search of a highly skilledQuality Control Technicianto join our dynamic team and contribute to our longstanding reputation as an industry leader. As a member of our organization, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the production process, liaising with production operators and management, and ensuring that all products conform to our quality requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct routine assessments of the printing process to verify that all products adhere to customer specifications.

Examine and document the reasons for any non-conforming products uncovered during assessments, and determine appropriate courses of action, such as rework, disposition, or destruction.

Conduct audits for Product Verification Inspection (PVI) to verify that shipments meet customer requirements.

Conduct product testing as necessary, in accordance with customer specifications, and accurately and legibly document the findings.

Maintain meticulous records of all quality-related activities, including the evaluation and revision of pertinent quality and production procedures.

Utilize electronic inspection systems to ensure accuracy and precision.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or GED.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Strong attention to detail and ability to spot even minor non-conformances.

Basic computer knowledge, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.

Printing knowledge a plus, but not required.

Ability to perform basic math calculations and interpret simple graphs.

Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, and to stand for extended periods of time.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
