Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Representative to join our healthcare team in our Insurance Department. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical billing, posting and claims follow up.

Responsibilities:

- Claim review/preparation for billing
- Posting insurance and patient payments
- Verify patient insurance information and assist with billing inquiries
- Follow-up with insurance carriers on insurance pending claims
Experience:

- Prior experience in a medical office setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial
- Proficiency in office procedures and computer systems
- Strong interpersonal skills, prompt with work hours along with good attendance record

Work hours 7:30 - 4:30 Monday- Thursday, 7:30 - 11:30 Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
