Production Supervisor Job Responsibilities:
- Coach and supervise staff to achieve maximum productivity, quality and safety standards
- Ensure 5S systems are followed, maintained, and implemented
- Maximize labor hours and minimize waste using 5S systems
- Encourage and welcome ideas from team to make work more efficient and cost effective
- Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel
Production Supervisor Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED with 1-2 years of leadership experience
- Ability to understand and read engineering drawings/specifications
- Experience or knowledge with 5S/lean manufacturing concepts
- Proficient working in MRP/ERP systems
- Experience working in manufacturing preferably in a tier 1 or tier 2 supplier
