• Oversee and reconcile bank accounts used for student and consumer loan originations. Work with internal and originating bank partners to resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly investor reporting to investment banks, warehouse lenders, forward flow buyers, and securitizations.
• Ensure scheduled and ad-hoc reporting has the appropriate level of quality control.
• Reconcile loan servicing data, transaction documents, and cash remittances.
• Work with the internal Data Engineering team to streamline data flows and automate reporting.
• Document policies, procedures, and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and contribute to special projects as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5 years of treasury, capital markets, or accounting experience.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to solve problems and resolve conflicts to achieve a positive outcome. 
• Ability to work independently in a team environment without close supervision.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, as well as attentiveness to details and a commitment to follow up.
• Ability to effectively manage several tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Willingness/ability to work extra hours when faced with tight deadlines.
• Candidate must reside in the United States to be considered for this position.

• Experience with student or consumer loans.
• SQL or other experience working with large datasets.
• Experience with consumer loan securitizations or asset-backed lending.
• Advanced degree, CPA, or other relevant certification.

• Compensation includes base salary of $80,000 - $105,000 commensurate with experience, plus bonus and options.
