What You Will Do

Description:

• Seeking fellowship-trained Vascular Neurologist to direct our Primary Stroke Program which is dual certified by The Joint Commission (TJC) and Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services System (MIEMSS). The current director is planning retirement.

• The program infrastructure includes our dedicated Nurse Practitioner and Stroke Coordinator. 

• Program includes our well established cerebrovascular service line with Gold and Elite Plus status. 
• Will work with 4 other multi sub-specialty trained neurologists for inpatient consultations and outpatient clinical activities.
• Clinic facility is connected to the hospital for easy access

What You Will Need

Licensure/Certification/Registration:Required Credential(s):• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office. 

Preferred Credential(s):

• Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA). Verified by local Credentialing Office. 

Education:• Vascular Neurology Fellowship trained, Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Optometry (OD) or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) required.
