• Ascension Wisconsin is building a vibrant neuroscience program. We are actively looking for a General Neurologist to join ourdowntown Milwaukee location.OPPORTUNITY● Join a well-established and respected team of:o 2 General Neurology Physicianso 1 General Neurology APPo 1 Epilepsy Physicianso Neurosurgery team● 100% Outpatient Neurology practice● Requirements:o Must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurologyo Interest in reading EEGs, EMGs and botox is a plus● No after hour call as there is telestroke and telemedicine in place● Required to do: 36 patient contact hours● A developed neurohospitalist program that provides 24/7 inpatient coverage● Opportunity to become busy right away as this is a replacement for a retiremento Walk right into a well-established practice!● EHR: Epic● Referral patterns from Ascension Medical Group● Highly competitive Compensation Package including:o A 2 year guarantee, sign on bonus, $10K in relocation expenses and covered malpractice insuranceo Excellent benefits and a great retirement plan with a generous employer match, 403B, 457B, and employer automatic contribution

  FACILITY● Clinic Hourso Flexible Scheduling: Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.● Patients per day: 13-15● Support staff: 1 MA per physician● Ability to work with a diverse patient population● An ideal downtown Milwaukee location that is on the same campus as the Hospital● On site:o Neurodiagnostic lab: EEG, EMG/Nerve Conduction Studieso Established Neuropsychological program on siteo NeuroInterventional Radiologyo Comprehensive Stroke Center

What You Will Need

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
• Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred. Verified by local Credentialing Office.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Optometry (OD) or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) required.
