What You Will Do

Ascension Lourdes is looking for a Board Certified Occupational Health Physician for the Southern Tier Medical Care Practice, our Occupational Health Practice. 

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Lourdes to provide occupational medicine in the Binghamton community and surrounding areas. 

Position Highlights:

• In addition to treating patients, this physician will serve in the position as Medical Director of the Practice by facilitating strategic alliances with other physicians and community organizations for the benefit of the physical well-being of individuals performing their work responsibilities. 
• Ensures that the Practice's clinical programs are in compliance with governmental and regulatory requirements. 
• Implements educational programs and offerings for the community.
• Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in the Practice.
• Provide workers comp services, as well as IME, immigration physicals, EKG reads and MRO services.

What You Will Need

Licensure/Certification/Registration:Required Credential(s):• Physician MD/DO Board Certified and NYS medical licensed obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentialing Office will verify licensing.

Education:• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)

Additional Preferences

Experience Preferred:

• Previously held the position of Occupational Health Physician and Medical Director;
• Trained and experienced at performing Workers Compensation exams, and services such as IME, immigration physical exams, EKG reads and MRO.

Salary Range:

• $240k-$290k

Actual compensation offer will vary based upon role, education, experience, location and qualifications.
