Job Description
Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant for our client firm in Coral Gables, FL. This person will support a fabulous team of litigators, two paralegals, and another legal assistant.
Job Responsibilities:
- Scheduling (deadlines, reminders, trial orders, hearings, depositions, mediations, and subpoenas.
- Court reporting scheduling.
- Scheduling of Zoom meetings.
- CourtMAP, CMS ( and all other courts) Hearings with opposing counsel scheduling.
- Review Judge's Procedures on specific instructions for coordinating hearings.
- Communicate with JA regarding special set hearing dates.
- Notice of Hearing drafting.
- E-filing.
- Organize binders for attorneys and judges.
- Process Attorneys’ reimbursement.
- Assist with CLE arrangements.
- Management of litigation trial calendar, and litigation master list.
- Other duties as assigned.
The pay range is $60-65k depending on experience.
