Job Description

Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search client's Corporate Group seeks a midlevel associate with a minimum of four years of experience to join the practice in their Los Angeles or San Francisco office.

The ideal candidate is an intellectually curious self-starter with business acumen. Strong preference for a background that lends itself to a well-rounded understanding of business issues such as management consulting experience, in-house counsel work, an MBA degree, or significant client secondment.

The successful candidate is collaborative, practical, and has substantial experience with domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, as well as joint ventures and financings.

Experience with multinational intragroup reorganizations is a plus. This role supports an agile and fast-paced team that works with start-ups and Fortune100 companies alike, bringing a growth company mindset to mainstream company work with a focus on value add. The mix of established corporate clients and new ventures presents an unique opportunity to work closely with clients’ C-suites, as well as their legal teams, to execute on business and corporate strategy plans, and design and implement cutting edge solutions.

Candidates must hold a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction’s bar.
