Seeking a detail-oriented Banking Operations Specialist to ensure smooth branch operations and legal compliance. Crucial role in maintaining efficiency and regulatory adherence.

The primary focus of this role is to undertake various deposit operations and clerical tasks.

Responsibilities Include :

• Conducting branch and legal research
• Reviewing large dollar exceptions and two-signature transactions
• Daily monitoring of exceptions items and account activations
• Managing opt-out maintenance and return mail processing
• Maintaining digital records and verifying new certificate of deposit reports
• Processing block postings, branch ATM deposits, and W-8 updates
• Red-Flagging suspicious depositor transactions

Additional Responsibilities :

• Weekly Reg D report review and ACH / IAT monitoring
• Verifying RDC transactions and processing notices of change
• Monthly general ledger reconciliation and handling debit card and ACH claims
• Overseeing ACH origination, positive pay review, and forgery claims

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and knowledge of banking regulations
• Excellent communication, organization, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking software
• 2 years of experience in retail banking operations
