Ascendo Resources is actively seeking an Accounting Clerk (Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable) to join the team of a leading e-commerce platform for fine jewelry in Manhattan! This position is full time, temporary for the next 3 months, and on-site. Your responsibilities in this position will include entering data into spreadsheets and accounting software. APPLY NOW

JobTitle: Accounting Clerk - Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
Pay rate: 20/hr
Days/hours: Mon-Fri 9 AM - 6 PM

Responsibilities:

• Review invoices and documents for accuracy and completeness
• Enter data into spreadsheets and accounting software
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure data quality and consistency
• Assist Inventory, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable teams with data entry and accuracy
• Communicate errors to relevant parties
• Perform document scanning and copying
• Provide general clerical assistance to the accounting department

Top Keys:

• College degree preferred but not required (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPS, essential
• Experience with manual work at a high volume necessary
• Basic understanding of QuickBooks or other ERP system (Oracle, SAP, etc.) advantageous
• Ability to communicate effectively across departments
• Entrepreneurial spirit, attention to detail, and quick learner attitude important
