About the Role:

  • The Technical Product Owner is a pivotal role responsible for steering the strategic direction of client s products within the organization.
  • The Technical Product Owner will work closely with various business and IT stakeholders to ensure the client s platform aligns with organizational goals and delivers value.
  • This role requires a blend of technical expertise, product management acumen, and a deep understanding of business processes and requirements.

Job Title: Technical Product Owner

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the vision, roadmap, and goals for client's products.
  • Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, ensuring the work aligns with product goals and delivers value.
  • Plan and manage the releases, coordinating with development teams and stakeholders to ensure timely and effective deliveries.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to understand their needs, gather feedback, and ensure the client's platform meets their requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, usage metrics, and feedback to continually improve the client's products.
  • Coordinate training and education initiatives to improve end-user adoption and effective use of the client's platform.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, industry best practices, and applicable laws and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master s Degree or relevant product management certification is a plus.
  • Minimum three or more years of experience.
  • Experience in product management, product ownership, or a similar role, preferably within a technology or IT service management environment.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar agile product management certification is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and prioritize work based on value, risk, and dependencies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile, and fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work with a strong desire to improve processes and outcomes.

Location: Onsite role in Sacramento, CA

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $90,000 $120,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
