Position Overview: We are currently seeking a talented Mid-Level Labor and Employment Attorney to join our team in either Houston or Dallas, TX. This is a hybrid position, offering the flexibility to work both remotely and in-office. The ideal candidate will have experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on counseling clients and representing them in disputes. This position provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth and the chance to work with a collaborative team of legal professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Providing legal advice and counsel to clients on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour issues, and employee benefits
• Drafting and reviewing employment-related agreements, policies, and handbooks
• Conducting legal research and analysis on labor and employment law issues
• Representing clients in administrative proceedings before state and federal agencies, such as the EEOC and NLRB
• Handling employment litigation matters, including discrimination claims, wrongful termination suits, and non-compete disputes
• Advising clients on compliance with state and federal employment laws and regulations
• Assisting with internal investigations and conducting training sessions for clients on employment law topics
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and providing exceptional client service

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar of Texas
• 3-5 years of experience practicing labor and employment law, preferably in a law firm setting
• Strong understanding of federal and state labor and employment laws and regulations
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle a diverse caseload and work independently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
