Industrial Maintenance Technician Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)

• Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and production related equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
• Installing new production equipment
• Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools
• Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks
• As needed, must take calls after hours, some weekends, and holidays
• Adhere to work and safety rules, as well as Lockout/Tagout procedures
• Assist with other tasks as needed
• Be cross trained to perform other duties

Industrial Maintenance Technician Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)

• Previous work experience as an industrial maintenance technician is required
• In depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance
• Knowledge of parametric and industrial control systems
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations
• Excellent troubleshooting skills

. Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment
