Industrial Sewing Machine Operator Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)

• Performs general sewing, altering, and mending of articles
• Takes measurements for items to be sewn, altered, or mended
• Maintain files on all items made, issued, and discarded including patterns and materials used
• Provide proper care and cleaning of assigned equipment and work area
• Because of necessary fluctuations of workloads, a sewer may be required, on occasion, and according to need, perform duties outside his/her ordinary assignment

Industrial Sewing Machine Operator Shift Info

• Day Shift, 07:00 am to 04:15 pm
• Monday - Thursday
• Friday Shift, 7:00am to 12:00pm

Industrial Sewing Machine Operator Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)

• The ability to read, write and follow instructions
• 1 - 2 years of sewing experience a must (industrial sewing experience preferred)
• High School diploma or GED
