General Labor Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)

• Lift materials

• Complete all assigned tasks in a quickly and safely

• Driving around Lea County picking up illegal dump sites, picking up deceased animals, recyclables, cardboard, and other materials.

• Walking 1/2 mile to o one mile bagging trash.

• Working in a crew of three

• Going around Lea County picking up trash from illegal dump sites.

• Picking up deceased animals, cardboard, recyclables and other materials (from local businesses)

• Spray washing scales

• Helping at main recycling center

• Working in different types of weather.

• Other Duties will apply

General Labor Shift Info

• Day Shift, 08:00 am to 05:00 pm - $12/hr

• Monday- Friday

General Labor Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)

• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds

• Must be comfortable climbing up tall ladders, working at elevated levels

• Positive attitude and work ethic

• Able to work independently or as an active member of a team

• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
