Ascend Concrete is Hiring a Project Manager Near Lancaster, PA

Our commercial concrete company is searching for an experienced Project Manager to supervise project plans and oversee multiple concrete jobs to ensure the work is high-quality, finished efficiently, and within the predetermined budget. Compensation:

$75,000 - $100,000

Responsibilities:
  • Receive handoff when a project is under contract from the estimating team.
  • Develop team and train foreman, finishers, and laborers to operate effectively.
  • Own the lifecycle of a concrete construction project from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with GC Project Manager and Site Superintendent to schedule and complete project in a timely manner.
  • Schedule Concrete crew to perform work ranging from foundation excavation, setting rebar, pouring foundations, placing stone grade, Slab-on-grade prep and pour, sidewalk pour, etc.
  • Coordinate field activities and provide updates to leadership.
  • Lead team of foremen on a day-to-day basis.
  • Purchase required materials for job scope of work.
  • Provide and receive timely feedback on work performance.
  • Comply with and demonstrate understanding of OSHA regulations, monitor and enforce safety practices to operate a safe workplace.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of Concrete Experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Project Management or Concrete Superintendent experience.
  • Excellent time-management, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Experience with construction of concrete foundations, Slab-on-grade, slab-on-deck, and sidewalks.
  • Capability to operate Total Station and read Structural Plans.
  • Proven leadership within a commercial concrete organization.
  • Ability to motivate and drive successful outcomes on a commercial construction job site.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Driver's License.
