Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a dynamic full-time Field Sales Representative to complement our team. The ideal candidate will bring energy, organization, attention to detail, and exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
This role revolves around conducting business-to-business sales activities targeting MEP contractors within an assigned territory, encompassing tasks from lead generation to finalizing sales agreements.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Engage in business-to-business sales endeavors aimed at MEP contractors within the designated region.
Follow up on quotes and engage in negotiations to secure sales contracts with clients.
Collaborate with inside sales support to ensure smooth execution of sales procedures.
Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently, with adept task prioritization.
Occasionally visit job sites to support clients and gather market intelligence.
Cultivate and expand relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out new prospects.
Qualifications
Proficiency in MS Office suite; familiarity with CRM software.
Background in MEP commercial construction or manufacturer's representation is desirable.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
At least one year of sales experience.
Strong technical aptitude.
Solid grasp of sales principles and methodologies.
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and organizational aptitude.
Knowledge of / or background in seismic design and vibration isolation a plus.
Compensation & Benefits :
Salary up to a year and then transition to commission-based compensation with draw and unlimited earning potential.
9 paid holidays.
