ASAP! SUMMER CAMP 2023
ASAP! is an arts-infused education organization whose celebrated summer camp draws youth in grades 1-10 from across Northwest CT. Campers experience visual, performing, and culinary arts along with leadership development, games, field trips, and more.

As an ASAP! summer camp counselor, you will work alongside staff and teaching artists to create a cohesive, safe, and joyful experience for campers. You will be responsible for arriving on time for setup, morning meeting, and greeting your campers. Throughout the day, you will lead campers to their activities, engage and support them, and close the day with camper send-off and cleanup. This position requires lots of energy!

Please note: You must be 18 years or older to apply, have reliable transportation to Washington, CT, and be available all dates and times listed below.

DATES

Tues, July 9 - 4:00-5:00pm – Virtual Training (Recording of training will be provided for those hired after July 9)
Tues, July 16- 9:00-5:00pm – Training at Rumsey Hall School
Sun, August 4 - 10:00-5:00pm – Camp set up and training at Rumsey Hall School
Mon-Fri, Aug 5 - Aug 9 - 8:00-4:30pm – Summer Camp
Mon-Fri, Aug 12 - Aug 16 - 8:00-4:30pm – Summer Camp
Fri, Aug 16 – Cleanup until 6:30pm

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $15.68 per hour
