Target Profile:

The successful candidate will be ultimately responsible for driving the sales direction of our organization, generating all direct sales revenue for the business, building out sales teams, etc.. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced enterprise software sales leader to be a highly visible player at a major software company with direct reporting into the CRO.

In this role, you will be responsible for the sales orchestration across a team of AE's, AMs, SEs, CSM, SDR/BDRs, etc. Your duties will include:
  • Developing the sales strategy and go-to-market plans.
  • Create a consistent, data-driven, and productive sales organization that can scale rapidly.
  • Be a hands-on sales leader who can evangelize the product in front of customers and drive deals across the sales process.
  • Maintain healthy and predictable revenue growth by establishing and consistently meeting execution milestones related to the company's financial and operating plans.
  • Hire and develop the sales team, including overseeing compensation and incentive programs that motivate performance, and coaching teams to meet and exceed their goals.
  • Be directly involved in new sales and upsell into large and strategic accounts.
  • Leverage sales analytics to fine-tune and run the sales organization and track progress.
  • Requirements:
    • 15 years of experience with large-dollar enterprise SaaS software systems in a fast-growing company.
    • 10 years of proven experience in sales leadership, leading sales divisions in SaaS companies to include a services component. Preferably VP or SVP role with C-Suite interactions, Board Level Strategic Planning, P&L, and creation of Go-to-Market Strategies, Comp Plans, KPI and key metric leadership etc.
    • Experience building and developing sales team across multiple roles.
    • Experience designing compensation plans for the sales team.
    • Demonstrated ability leveraged sales analytics to tune and run the sales organization (KPIs/ROB)
    • Experience working with procurement cycles in the state and local government marketplace (SLED, City, State, County, Federal, Public Sector, Government)
    • Experience coaching teams selling LOB solutions and methodologies that are industry aligned.
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.

  • Work closely with CRO, CTO, CEO and other key leadership to develop the sales strategy and go-to-market plans.
  • Create a consistent, data-driven, and productive sales organization that can scale rapidly.
  • Be a hands-on sales leader who can evangelize the product in front of customers and drive deals across the sales process.
  • Maintain healthy and predictable revenue growth by establishing and consistently meeting execution milestones related to the company's financial and operating plans
  • Support your AE's to help them meet and exceed their quotas
  • Be directly involved in new sales and upsell into large & strategic accounts

Compensation: We expect anyone qualified for this role to currently be in the $200's with OTE in the $275-350k range.Our client is prepared to be very competitive to go after strong A Players!Leadership & Executive packages also come with Shares in a Pre-IPO company with massive growth and over 650 employees in 3 countries!
