Arvest Bank is Hiring a Maintenance Specialist 1 Near Fayetteville, AR

Position is located at 75 N East Ave., Fayetteville, AR.

Applicant will need the ability to travel between our Fayetteville branches as needed.

Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with additional hours are needed.

Summary:

SUMMARY: Under the direction and supervision of the assigned Supervisor/Manager, the incumbent handles the general maintenance and upkeep of the physical properties. The Maintenance Specialist 1 will perform simple maintenance functions and may assist with courier and company errands.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform general repairs, change bulbs, and handle miscellaneous duties and maintenance.
  • Move furniture, file cabinets, etc. due to personnel relocations, etc.
  • Ensure grounds, landscaping and buildings are well kept.
  • Service filters on A/C and heater units.
  • Maintain the upkeep of maintenance equipment, tools, and materials.
  • May contact outside contractors for major repairs and follow-up, as necessary.
  • May set up rooms for meetings, training sessions, etc.
  • May serve as back up for courier routes and company errands.
Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
    • One (1) to two (2) years of maintenance experience required.
    • Knowledge of various hand tools required.
    • Proven mechanical ability required.
    • Valid driver's license and maintenance of an excellent driving record required.
    • Previous experience with electrical, plumbing, heating/air conditioning and equipment preferred.

      • Must be able to arrive at work on time, work on site and have regular work attendance
      • Must be able to work cooperatively with other co-workers regardless of personality, presence or communication style

      • Must be able to operate personal computer keyboard in order to create reports, schedules and other appropriate documentation
