Arvest Bank is Hiring a Division Business Analyst 1 Near Little Rock, AR

Position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm with ability to work additional hours as needed.

Position can be located within the Arvest 4 State footprint (AR,OK,MO, KS).

Preferred experience: Mortgage and Investor knowledge, SQL and VBA Coding, JavaScript Coding, InfoPath.

Summary:

SUMMARY: Under the direction of the assigned manager, the Division Business Analyst 1 begins to learn and develop skills to understand business change needs, how to assess the business impact of these changes, capture, analyze, and document requirements and support the communication and delivery of requirements with all relevant stakeholders. The incumbent assists with projects that are designed to improve operations issues and business efficiencies and other key performance indicators (KPI’s).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Initiate new projects and may take the lead role on minor/small projects as directed by management to evaluate business processes and technologies.
  • Participate in facilitating requirements gathering sessions, proactively eliciting requirements from stakeholders under guidance of senior team members.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving conflicting requirements.
  • Develop an ability to appropriately communicate with all stakeholders.
  • Develop analytical techniques for analyzing informational needs for both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Assist in preparing requirements specifications according to standard templates.
  • Create workflow diagrams to document current and future business environments under general direction of senior team members.
  • Document changes to requirements throughout the project.
  • Act as a liaison between the business unit, project manager, and support teams.
  • Participate in system maintenance changes and upgrades as required by the appropriate department(s).
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the areas of regulation/compliance, products/services, systems and technologies, bank/mortgage structure/organization and account documentation by attending continuing education training, both internal and external.
  • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes, but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates Degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work experience required.
  • 3 years of banking, financial services, and/or relevant experience including products and services, bank regulations and core systems or equivalent education required.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Proven experience in problem solving required.
  • Project involvement or management experience preferred.
