Arvest Bank is Hiring an Associate Client Advisor Near Tulsa, OK

Position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm with ability to work additional hours as needed.

Location: 4500 S Garnett Rd. Suite 420 Tulsa, OK 74146.

To be eligible for hire and remain employed, applicant must meet credit requirements, pass SPQ gold (sales aptitude test), and obtain all relevant licensure (within 120 days) and meet sales goals.

Summary:

SUMMARY: Under the supervision and direction of the AWM Regional Manager and AWM Advisory Growth & Development Group, the Associate Client Advisor will begin the process of learning the Financial Services business, learn and develop sales skills, and be provided with a learning environment to study and potentially pass all required licensing exams. The incumbent is responsible for contacting potential customers and scheduling appointments to discuss financial services. The incumbent is also expected to gain a general understanding of how to gather and analyze financial information while developing an understanding of information needed when designing future financial goals for potential customers. The incumbent will work in conjunction with AWM Advisory Growth & Development Group to learn to prepare for client meetings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Successfully obtain Series 7 license within 120 days of hire.
  • Successfully obtain Series 63 and 65 license or Series 66 (combination exam of 63/65) license within 120 days of hire.
  • Successfully obtain Life and Variable Annuity license within 120 days of hire.
  • Develop general understanding of how Arvest Wealth Management (AWM) provides financial and retirement planning services to Arvest Bank and AWM customers.
  • Gain knowledge of the financial planning processes and learn how to provide customers with financial solutions in regards to the sale of brokerage, insurance, trust services and trust products.
  • Responsible for learning how to develop partnerships with bank branches in order to gain sales referrals, prospecting and marketing self and developing internal and external sales opportunities, initiating cold call communication with prospective clients in efforts to generate business, and working with Centers of Influence and vendors to develop strong relationships..
  • Develop an understanding of a customer’s financial goals and needs by using financial information gathered.Learn how to review and analyze financial situations to determine what appropriate financial services/products would meet customer’s needs.
  • Work with AWM Advisory Growth & Development Group to learn how to present plans to customers for review and consideration, as well as explain pertinent information related to the customers’ financial plan.
  • Learn to perform a final overview of determined plan to garner a better understanding of the financial process.This would include learning how to gather information to generate the customer’s application process for financial products according to internal policies and procedures.
  • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank’s BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate Degree OR equivalent relevant experience required.
  • Must obtain FINRA Series 7 license within 120 days of hire required.
  • Must obtain FINRA 63 and 65 license OR Series 66 (combination exam of 63/65) license within 120 days of hire required.
  • Must obtain Life, Health, and Variable Annuity Insurance license within 120 days of hire required.
  • Arvest experience preferred.
  • Sales and/or customer service experience preferred.
