Organization DescriptionArtists ReEnvisioning Tomorrow Inc “ART Inc”, founded in 2018 by Jonathon and Nikki Romain, is Peoria’s foremost arts-in-education non-profit organization. ART Inc provides arts education opportunities to nearly 500 students and 30 teaching artists annually. With a dedicated team comprising staff, board members, volunteers, and teaching artists, ART Inc. is devoted to crafting and delivering programs that allow students to imagine, create, and realize their fullest potential through the arts, advocating inclusivity and accessibility for those unable to afford such experiences.

Job DescriptionThe Marketing and Development Coordinator at ART Inc. will take on a multifaceted role, pivotal in advocating the organization's mission and expanding its reach and resources. This individual will be responsible for planning and executing effective publicity strategies, maintaining a robust and positive public image and managing communication channels with the press and community partners. Furthermore, the coordinator will assist in managing the donor pipeline, engaging in donor recruitment, maintaining relationships, and executing fund development initiatives including grant writing and annual fundraising campaigns.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• assist in the design of creative collateral and maintain stock of brochures or other ART Inc printed collateral.
• Manage social media and website and develop engaging content tailored to each event and program

• supports all fundraising events and other events by engaging with the community and representing ART Inc at various indoor and outdoor events.

• Provide weekly updates/reports to Directors
• Creates ART Inc’s annual report 
• Will write and solicit stories from staff for the monthly blog for the website and distribution on social media.
• Develop marketing materials for solicitation to community and corporate partners
• Assist in creating, coordinating content or marketing collateral for Awareness & Cultural Months.
• Responsible for creating and releasing ART Inc’s newsletter
Coordinate fundraising events and identify new avenues for revenue generation.

• Collect and record contact information for those who attend ART Inc’s special events.
• Works in a team environment to ensure ART Inc’s success
• Participate in staff meetings

Maintain and expand partner relationships for community service enhancement.

• Other duties as assigned by the Directors.

Qualifications:

• Ability to exercise good judgment and take initiative
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or two years of post-secondary education and four years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Outside sales and/or fundraising experience is required (3 years )
• Experience working with Canva, Adobe Suite or similar design programs preferred (2 years ).
• Ability to be flexible and pivot quickly in a rapidly growing small nonprofit.
• Willingness to make connections out in the field to engage new instructors, donors, and audiences to grow our onsite offerings for the community

Supervisor RelationshipThe Program Director alongside the Executive Assistant will guide the Marketing & Development Coordinator to ensure consistency with the strategic direction of ART Inc.

Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Mental and Physical RequirementsPhysical effort is light, with lifting or carrying limited to 25 pounds intermittently as well as walking up and down stairs. Work will include giving tours (3 flights of stairs) and making presentations in front of groups. Expectations include light physical work, periodic lifting, frequent use of technology, dealing with the stress of deadline pressures, and the adaptability to shift gears to meet our non-profit's demands.
