Artisan Technology Group has an outstanding opportunity for a Procurement Specialist I to join a well-established company based in Champaign for over 20 years.
Job Description
The Procurement Specialist I will report to the Director of Procurement and will focus mainly on locating procurement opportunities to expand out selection of equipment to our customers.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities of the Procurement Specialist I:
  • Procuring equipment through our vendor equipment directory
  • Locating equipment opportunities for current and future customer needs
  • Keyword database management
  • Add new keywords from various print and electronic sources
  • Modify keywords to optimize application efficiency
  • Vendor Communication (including Sending Offers, Negotiating and Follows-up)
  • Other Procurement duties as assigned by Director of Procurement
Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
  • Excellent email and phone communications
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
Full-Time Position:
  • Flexible Schedule
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday through Friday at our facility in Champaign
  • Full Benefits
