Principal Duties and Responsibilities of the Procurement Specialist I:
- Procuring equipment through our vendor equipment directory
- Locating equipment opportunities for current and future customer needs
- Keyword database management
- Add new keywords from various print and electronic sources
- Modify keywords to optimize application efficiency
- Vendor Communication (including Sending Offers, Negotiating and Follows-up)
- Other Procurement duties as assigned by Director of Procurement
- Excellent email and phone communications
- Ability to work independently.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Flexible Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday at our facility in Champaign
- Full Benefits
Competitive starting wage range $37k - $50k/yr, three weeks of PTO (with one week accrued at date of hire), Medical, 401k matching, dental, vision, and life insurance, and more.
