Our company's primary focus is the sales and support of high-end electronic test and measurement equipment for commercial, industrial, and military applications. The Engineering Technician handles a wide variety of specialized electronic test and measurement equipment. Suitable applicants have an electronics background with experience in testing and troubleshooting.
- Equipment evaluation, testing, and repair
- Verify technical accuracy of published information
- Create and refine documented test procedures
- Work with equipment vendors to obtain documentation, software, and technical information
- Electronic troubleshooting skills are required.
- Excellent organization, communication, and computer skills are required.
- Training is on-site and set to the pace and capability of the candidate.
- Technical skills required:
- Understanding of basic electronics: capacitors, resistors, diodes, etc.
- Reading schematics
- Soldering and circuit board work
- Flexible Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday at our facility in Champaign
