OC Sports & Rehab is looking for a Physical Therapy Aide to assist in the treatment of patients as directed by the physical therapist.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding and professional customer service to ensure an efficient and positive patient experience 
• Maintain general order and upkeep of clinic including, but not limited to, cleaning all equipment, treatment tables, and all high contact surfaces 
• Facilitate patient flow by assisting patients in the performance of therapeutic exercise under the direct supervision of our licensed Physical Therapists 
• Interact with patients 1 on 1 
• Implement exercise prescription 
• Observe and develop knowledge covering therapeutic assessments and treatments for a wide-ranging sports/orthopedic pathologies 
• Learn the intricacies of marketing strategies and business management within a healthcare setting

Requirements

• Possess a strong commitment to personal and professional growth 
• Ability to work as a team 

Education and Experience

• High school diploma required, college level exercise science courses preferred 
• 6 months of PT Aide experience preferred 
• 1 year of customer service experience 
• An ideal candidate is in a gap year of future medical training
