Every positionat ArtCenter plays an important part in carrying out the values, goals,strategic vision, and mission of the College. This includes diversity,equity, inclusion, access, belonging (DEIAB) and culture.

Reporting directly to the President the CFAO will serve as a critical member of the Executive Cabinet (EC) and will provide the overall vision and strategic leadership for all aspects of the College’s financial resources in alignment with the strategic vision established by the President and Board of Trustees.

The CFAO will serve as a strategic thought partner to the President and EC in establishing and maintaining sound financial processes and policies to support institutional initiatives and viability, and leads efforts to support the long-term health, effectiveness, and financial strength of the College. In addition to leading ArtCenter’s Finance, Payroll, and Accounting operations, the CFAO will also provide leadership and oversight to many of the College’s administrative and business departments. Current oversight includes Facilities and Campus Planning, Auxiliary Services, Campus Security, Environmental Health, Safety, and Risk Management, Information Technology, Labor Relations, and Employee Experience and Engagement (HR).

The successful candidate will bring a genuine interest and deep commitment to ArtCenter’s mission and will embody a compassionate, inclusive, and facilitative leadership style that inspires and empowers peers and staff, encourages collaboration throughout the College, and fosters the highest levels of service. This leader will help develop and implement a clear, unified vision for finance and administration that will engage the ArtCenter community and position the College for future success.

The salary range for this position: $250,000.00 - 300,000.00

Final salary is based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
