Summary:2.0 Job Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment to include:
Rotary and inline thermoforming machines
CNC 3 and 5 axis mills and routers
Large metal shears and benders
Compressors
Chillers
Vacuum pumps
Industrial vehicles
Other duties may include:
Building and infrastructure maintenance and repair
Basic welding
Electrical system installation and modification
Parts research, ordering and inventory Responsible for machine operations and quality control/inspections.
Machine Maintenance Technician I and II: The levels of I and II are determined by the amount of skill and ability of the operator. Level I can perform general work on equipment. Level II troubleshoots PLC programs to resolve problems and ensure the functionality of systems. Level II can create and review PLC documentation, such as schematics, programming procedures and testing procedures using ladder logic and structured text to control various industrial machine processes. Education and Qualifications: Ability to identify OSHA safety violations. Read blueprints, electrical diagrams and operation manuals. Understands the principals of 5s and lean manufacturing. 5 years of related equipment maintenance and repair. Ability to use precision instruments and read schematics and diagrams. Mechanical or trade school certificate preferred. Welding and/or fabrication skills and/or experience preferred. Must furnish own tools. Valid driver’s license. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently throughout the day and up to 50 lbs. infrequently throughout the day.
