Description
The Wholesale Parts Manager is responsible for providing excellent customer service, keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first. Presents a friendly, professional greeting to customers and helps identify, order, and fulfill automotive parts needs. This individual is responsible for helping to maintain an organized Wholesale motivated Team. The Wholesale Manager is Tasked with Daily Team goal setting and working with the Parts Director on daily employee performance and professionalism.
Essential Functions and Duties
· Answer telephone and greet customers in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
· Communicate effectively with customers and vendors via phone, in-person, or email.
· Assist customers by answering questions, checking stock availability, and taking parts orders in a quick, friendly, and professional manner.
· Maintain clean and professional appearance of counter, work areas and stockroom.
· Wholesale Delivery drivers will report Directly to the Wholesale Manager on staffing levels and accuracy.
· Order parts from suppliers based on service department and customer requests.
· Create accurate invoices with CDK.
· Receive, unpack, Pre-Pick and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed.
· Check quantity and condition of goods received against invoices and purchase orders. Check number and unit cost as well as total billing for charges against proper records.
· Specifies parts accurately.
· Takes inventory, maintains records of goods received and keeps perpetual inventory controls.
· Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
· Process core returns, parts warranties and part returns Daily and send copies of credit Memos daily.
· Other duties such as tracking the Maintenance of Company vehicles.
· Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.
· Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.
· Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards according to departmental policies.
· Arrive at work, take breaks, and depart work at the times designated by management.
· Attending meetings and training as scheduled.
· Ensure that work areas and customer waiting areas are kept clean.
