Description

Position Summary

The Marketing Specialist will develop and implement traditional and digital marketing campaigns and activities to help us achieve our sales goals and continue to grow our business. This role understands our target customers and will work directly with our Sales Team to identify and implement methods to promote our products and services. The Marketing Specialist will understand and operate with a “sell through” philosophy and approach that helps consumers and retail partners make money. Focus of this role will be on brick and mortar dealer channel.

Key Accountabilities

· Working collaboratively with our Sales and Operations teams to develop and implement marketing initiatives.

· Coordinating the design of marketing literature/content for our dealers and customers, including product manuals, catalogs, flyers, brochures, merchandising, new product materials, promotions, mailings, and dealer promotional communications. 

· Planning and organizing tradeshow campaigns and activities for national, regional, and local events -dealer and corporate. This work includes message development, production of materials, and post show assessment.

· Team with Director of Sales, VP Dealer Sales on promotions selection and communication internally and externally.

· Writing and editing marketing copy for brochures, new product, emails, video scripts, and advertising.

· Identify and promote the Arrow Sewing brand with ambassador and affiliate partners to expand brand reach and drive purchase inquiries.

· Collaborate with multimedia specialist or others for video production – may include live stream events, how-to videos, assembly videos, promotional videos, and general marketing. 

· Collaborate with marketing department to ensure content management from/to our data management system, including maintenance, quality standards, naming and file-type consistency. Including Dropbox for raw files and alternate system back-up. Ensures finished files are accessible by other team members.

· Identify and work with management team to discover, review, and implement chosen improvements and make “Arrow Companies easy to work with” from our retail partners.

· Working with outside marketing resources as appropriate to develop marketing content. 

· Assisting in developing marketing campaign budgets and tracking and reporting expenses.

· Measuring, analyzing, and reporting performance of marketing campaigns.

· Managing day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure that our marketing operations run smoothly.

· Work with dealers during new dealer onboarding meetings

· Ability to travel for weekend trade shows 2-6 times per year and represent Arrow Sewing and team with a local dealer

Demonstrates a strong consultative problem solving and strives for solutions. Understands design and components of ready-to-assemble furniture and is comfortable assembling furniture as part of training process.

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience in communications, marketing, or related field

· Minimum of 5 years marketing experience, including traditional and digital marketing

· Minimum of 3 years tradeshow marketing experience working with B2B dealers and consumers

· Demonstrated knowledge of marketing tools, techniques, and best practices – both traditional and digital

· Experience with marketing communications including content creation, storytelling and developing and editing product content.

· Proficient working with Adobe Creative Suite is optional

· Ability to handle multiple and simultaneous marketing projects from start to finish with little supervision

· Comfortable working with Microsoft Office suite – particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint) 

Minimum Performance Standards

· Achieve project delivery on time and on budget

· Strong satisfaction expressed by internal and external stakeholders

· Timely fulfillment of requests and trouble resolution

· Utilize Microsoft Teams and be available for ad-hoc meetings

· Answer phone calls in 3 rings or less, respond to email and voicemails within 2 business hours.
