Role Overview:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med/Surg, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. This position offers a weekend block schedule, providing an opportunity for a fulfilling work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical unit.
• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions based on patient needs.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with procedures as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and self-care techniques.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in Medical/Surgical nursing.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a team.
