Associate Trial Attorney - Temporary in Atlanta, GA

Our client is in need of a temporary attorney to prepare and try insurance defense matters of basic to moderate complexity and exposure in trials and hearings before courts or agencies. The ideal candidate has 3-8 years of relevant civil litigation experience. Work is in a hybrid setting in the Atlanta area.

Job responsibilities include the following:

• Work with clients to establish, communicate, and implement a Litigation Plan;
• Provide legal advice and foster relationships;
• Take depositions of parties and experts and obtain meaningful discovery;
• Handle motions, hearings, appeals, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as well as strong legal research techniques. Substantive civil law and insurance contracts knowledge are a necessity. Must be a member of good standing of Georgia Bar.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: From $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
