Quality Engineer Technician who will provide support to various quality strategic initiatives in the Quality organization. You will manage the deployment of new Quality initiatives and support at an Okemah facility.
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
•Position will utilize expertise for Quality Engineering in support of Circuit Card Assemblies, Electronic Assemblies and Box Builds.
•The candidate will utilize standard and advanced Quality methods and tools.
•Selected candidate will utilize preventive action methods to evaluate and initiate actions to identify and control sources of failures detrimental to quality, cost, and schedule targets.
•Conduct systems audits to demonstrate compliance to QMS requirements.
•Responsible for root cause, corrective, and preventive action investigations/ decisions/ validations with oversite from Central Office HQ.
•Selected candidate will provide customer interface. Selected candidate will deliver effective methods and initiate improvements that will drive and improve overall quality performance reducing defects and Scrap, Rework, Repair cost.
•Collaborate with various functions to assure compliance and continuous improvement.
Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility that requires special access.
Preferred Skills:
•Two (2) years minimum experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering or alike
•Experience with handling International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) documentation
•Working experience of Quality and Continuous Improvement tools
•General knowledge of industry technical standards:
•General knowledge of aerospace/defense product technical requirements
•Experience communicating and making presentations to senior level leadership.
•Experience with AS9100 requirements
•Experience with corrective actions
•Experience with MS Excel and creating MS PowerPoint presentations
Desired Skills:
•AS 9102 First Article Inspection
•Experience with Lean, Six Sigma Black Belt
•Experience in aerospace manufacturing
•APQP experience (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
Education:
•Typically requires an emphasis in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
