Aroostook Mental Health Services, Inc. is Hiring an Administrative Support Specialist Near Ellsworth, ME

Description

AMHC is searching for a team-oriented Administrative Support Specialist in the Ellsworth Outpatient Office. This Full-Time position will work in collaboration with the Outpatient team to give the support needed to all clinical staff, as well as maintains other administrative support services in the office. The Administrative Support Specialist will act as a point of contact for clients and other visitors to the office. They will be responsible for collecting payments, maintaining staff schedules, initiating reminder calls regarding upcoming appointments as well as answering phones, and providing general administration and clerical support to all staff. The chosen candidate will be expected to demonstrate the core values of AMHC by showing Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect to co-workers, clients, and the community members.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalency is required
  • Basic courses in business/secretarial preferred
  • Working knowledge of general office procedures is necessary

Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Coordinate and schedule client care with AMHC providers Compassion, Respect and remember our dedication to Service
  • Assist billing/financial management with daily tracking in Collaboration with internal and external departments
  • Maintain the electronic records by running reports to ensure accuracy and Excellence
  • Filing and inventory control
  • assist in preparing for new staff orientation and demonstrating the Integrity our Team

Schedule:

This is a 40-hour per week position
