The Client Services Specialist oversees collections for the Firm, directly interfacing with external and internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and proactive with exceptional verbal and written skills. This position requires excellent time management, an aptitude for problem identification and resolution as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality.

· Interacts with clients, attorneys and staff on a daily basis pertaining to any issues with invoices, audits or billing matters resulting in non-payment of invoices
· Proactively manages, tracks and collaborates with attorneys concerning contacting clients regarding their receivables
· Assist with monitoring the Department Inboxes several times daily for incoming requests
· Monitors firm’s compliance with client Outside Counsel Guidelines and Engagement Agreements with regard to billing and payment issues, approved rates/alternative billing arrangements and billing & payment deadlines
· Approves client/matter transfers out-of-firm to records departments
· Assist clients with ACH set-up
· Works closely with Cash Receipts to assist with identification and reconciliation of payments received
· Processes write-offs, client refunds and check requests
· Identify and assists with any Trust questions, transfers or issues
· Provides ad-hoc reporting to attorneys and clients as requested regarding client account receivables, billing and payment history, budget reporting, accruals, etc.

Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education: Associates Degree
Required Licenses and/or Certifications: N/A
Required Experience: 2-3 years legal client services experience, Aderant/CMS, ARCS, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Preferred Experience: Knowledge of the legal billing cycle
