Safe Technician - Orlando, FL

Armstrong Lock and Security Products has an opening for a Safe Technician. This position is full time (overtime as needed) and demands an individual who can multitask in a fast paced environment. This position is a gateway position to becoming a Certified Safe Technician and/or Locksmith with Armstrong Lock. Why choose Armstrong? Responsibilities

• Attends organizational meetings
• Deliver and install safes for commercial and residential
• Maneuver/ operate safes of all sizes safely (capable of lifting 100lbs)
• Comprehend inner mechanisms of safes (bolts, locking mechanisms)
• Paint, assemble shelves, and operate table saw
• Clean and organize safe inventory
• Operate basic hand tools along with ratchet straps
• Maintain a clean and organized safe van
• Backup and tow a small trailer with significant weight
• Maintain and submit accurate invoices and paperwork
• Attends organizational meetings
• Manage time and meet time-sensitive deadlines
• Assist front counter as needed
• Always provide excellent customer service
• Work independently or within a team on daily tasks and projects
• Working knowledge of computers and smart phone devices

Position Requirements

• Full-time position working M-F from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Willingness to cross-train into a locksmith position
• Must be able to work outdoors for prolonged periods of time
• Willingness to follow rotational on-call schedule for days, nights, and weekends
• Drive while towing a trailer
• Mechanically inclined and basic tool knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Clean background check, driving record, and ability to pass a drug test
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to lift/ maneuver 100lbs
• Ability to take direction and follow through to find a resolution
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and demonstrate organizational skills
• Always provide excellent customer service
• Perform other duties as required
