Armstrong Fence Co is Hiring a Receptionist/Retail Sales Associate Near Jacksonville, FL

Armstrong Fence Co is seeking a dependable and detailed orientedindividual with strong customer service and organization skills for our Receptionist/AdministrativeAssistant position.

This individual will work in our Jacksonville, FL location for 6weeks and will then be relocated to our St. Augustine location upon training.

Minimumrequirements

· Must be 18 years of age

· Valid driver's license

· High School diploma or GED

· Must meet all medical fitness for dutyrequirements for the position

· Strong ability to perform well under pressureand in stressful situations and circumstance

· Flexible hours (Must be available to work onweekends)

· Willing to work OT

· Pass background check (no felonies orsex offenses)

· Pass drug screening

· Pass pre-employment physical

· Reliable transportation

EssentialDuties

· Answering all incoming telephone calls andgreeting visitors

· Field all incoming seller leads, evaluate themand schedule seller appointments with inspectors

· Filing and copying

· Review and general upkeep of office & kitchen

· Perform general secretarial duties

· Coordinating postage and courier services

· Maintains schedule and calendar for 6-9 Sales Representatives

· Various special projects monthly/quarterly asdirected by the Executive or Department Head

· All additional responsibilities as assigned bythe VP of Construction and Chief Operating Officer

· May need to assist in collection calls tocustomers regarding outstanding invoices

· Sorts and distributes mail

· Assists Sales Representatives with necessarydocumentation for project folders

· Effectively interacts with a diverse group ofclients and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization.

· Processing Payments

· Selling and Managing Fence Material RetailDesk – commissions available.

· Independent judgement is required to plan, prioritize andorganize diversified workload.

· Other duties may be required as needed.

Experience/Education

  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience required.
  • Knowledge of the construction field is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • experience in continued administrative functions and customer service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good phone personality
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details
  • Extremely computer savvy (excel/internet searches/outlook/quick data entry/scheduling)
  • Flexible hours (Must be available to work on weekends)
  • Customer service oriented and team player
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment while inputting job data with speed and accuracy being able to follow directions
