Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategy & Business Growth Manager to join our team. As a Strategy & Business Growth Manager, you will support the Armand de Brignac (AdB) team by providing critical analysis of the brand to ensure long-term growth and that strategic brand goals can be achieved. This is a key role within our organization, and you will play a crucial part in our continued success.

Responsibilities:

Analysis & Presentations

  • Serve as a key resource for the Armand de Brignac Maison team on all data needs by becoming an expert in core AdB and MHUSA data sources, including MH Biz, Qlik, MAP, IRI, VIP, etc.
  • Contribute to the brands strategy and solve critical business challenges by conducting rigorous, quantitative business analysis covering a variety of topics including sales, market trends, competition, and consumer behavior.
  • Develop and monitor monthly Armand de Brignac brand performance and provide AdB CEO with detailed monthly analysis of the brand performance, outlining issues and opportunities.
  • Lead all Armand de Brignac portfolio ad-hoc analysis and reporting, by delivering valuable insights and outlining opportunities for the brand.
  • Analysis can include: selective distribution performance, pricing, limited editions depletions, inventory/supply, etc.
  • Support the team to create exciting and compelling presentations for senior leadership that are well constructed with clear insights and actionable next steps (Business Reviews, Maison presentations, etc.)
  • Co-lead the PMT future planning process in partnership with finance, operations and marketing teams.

Business Support

  • Participate in Marketing, Sales & Operations meetings, having a clear understanding of forecasting, budget and inventory management for the brand.
  • Develop a holistic understanding of brand’s business in the US and globally over time: PnLs, historical, current and future volumes, specific channel and market focuses.
  • Support in the planning process with Maison, Regions, and Markets.
  • Carry out periodic monitoring of KPIs and marketing plans to evaluate results and support the actions necessary to achieve better performance of the brand in the market.
  • Lead marketing data management efforts, consolidating disparate data sources and enhancing data assets, to enable best in class marketing execution & analytics.

Organization:

  • Become a respected player within AdB. Work closely with internal maison team; International Business Development team and US commercial team to analyze holistic business performance.
  • Develop a strong sense of market dynamics through training and analysis.
  • Work effectively in US and International Markets / Global Maison / Commercial team in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO, providing insights, analysis, and recommendations to drive company strategies forward.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure awareness and accountability of action items, projects, and deliverables.
  • Streamline processes, optimize workflows, and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational operations; comfortable identifying areas in need of improvement in reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze company performance metrics, providing regular updates and insights to the CEO to inform decision-making.
  • Utilize data and metrics to track, prioritize, and drive multiple concurrent projects to success.
  • Assist in the development of organizational strategies, annual plans, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company objectives and priorities.
  • Lead marketing team through annual planning in partnership with finance and sales team, including building robust models and forecasting.

Requirements:

Education and Professional Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • 4-6 years of experience in business analysis/finance/business intelligence

Good to have:

  • Experience working in an international environment within a large multinational.
  • Experience with luxury brands, goods and/or wines and spirits industry
  • Experience in LVMH group would be a significant plus

Practical Knowledge/Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and interpretative skills
  • Proven proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Comfortable with large data sets and learning internal database systems
  • Thrive in fast pace environment
  • Knowledge of consumer panels: IRI, Nielsen
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organization/project management capabilities with ability to work autonomously
  • Solid time management skills and ability to work independently or within a large team
