Arlington School District is Hiring a Grade 2 Teacher Near Arlington, MA

The Arlington Public Schools is accepting applications from applicants interested in teaching Grade 2 in one of our District Elementary Schools.

Candidates for elementary teaching positions must be appropriately licensed for the position. Candidates must also be collaborative professionals who will work with grade level teams and regular and special educators throughout the School and District. Must love working with children and be willing to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students in the classroom. In addition, Arlington expects teachers to work diligently and collaboratively to implement the District's approved curriculum for all subjects. Candidates for this position who also have an English as a Second Language license will be strongly preferred.

Arlington has a well-established new teacher induction program with mentoring throughout the school year. The first official work day in the 2024-2025 school year will be August 28, 2024. However, new staff are required to attend several days of orientation and training during the last two weeks of August.
