About us

Arkas Restaurant Group is a family owned business in Joliet, IL. We are growing rapidly and currently own 5 restaurants, 1 banquet center and a catering company amongst other ventures.

Mousa Greek Taverna (158 N Chicago St) is a classic greek restaurant located within a historic Joliet quarry stone building. Embrace the warmth of Greek culture in our inviting environment.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the front of house staff, including bartenders, servers, and hosts/hostesses
- Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction
- Train and supervise front of house staff to maintain high standards of service
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies for the front of house
- Collaborate with the BOH team to ensure smooth coordination of food production and service
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area

Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as assistant manager or front of house supervisor, is required
- Knowledge of bartending techniques and familiarity with different types of beverages
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
