• Maintains adequate levels of office supplies and assists in ordering other supplies for department.
• Performs clerical duties as required, makes monthly calendar and fax information to physicians' offices and units in hospitals.
• Greets patients in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
• Processes incoming phone calls, pulls charts, and plans ahead for what is needed for next day of clinic
• Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Educational Requirements: • High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• One year experience on office setting or hospital setting. *Experience with billing and insurance preferred.
