Arkansas Division of Workforce Services is Hiring a Maintenance Tech B, Little Rock, AR. Near Little Rock, AR
Summary:The purpose of this position is to repair hydraulic, electrical (including solid state), and mechanical systems related to injection molding, extrusion, blending, fork trucks, and facilities. A “B” mechanic should help train “C” mechanics. Primary Job Responsibilities
Check and repair hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
Be familiar with all facility equipment for start-up and shut down of the plant
Be knowledgeable of all electrical disconnects and safety disconnects
Required to implement all repairs in a correct, proper, and safe manner
Must be familiar with and be able to read repair manuals and parts books
Be knowledgeable and capable of performing PM repair schedules
Follow and adhere to all company safety regulations as well as all government regulations
Report any safety violations to the supervisor immediately
Help train and guide “C” mechanics
Supports the established Quality Policy
Fulfills role as required in the documented quality system manual, directives and work instructions
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:
Needs solid electrical experience
High school graduate, GED or equivalent
Excellent communication skills required
Must possess strong interpersonal skills
Must have an eye for detail to ensure accuracy
Must display a positive and professional demeanor
Must have the ability to work overtime and weekends when needed
Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
Minimum of three years maintenance experience in an industrial environment
Must own all non-specialty tools and equipment to perform the job of a “C” mechanic

Squatting/Stooping – Rarely
Reaching – occasionally
Lifting - up to 40# frequently
Lifting – 50# to 75# with assisted apparatus (overhead crane/forklift)
Safety Requirements:
The employee is responsible to comply with all company and government safety regulations and procedures
Must wear proper PPE
