Description of duties to include but not limited to the following:

• Welcome guests into the restaurant by holding the door open and / or verbally with a genuinely friendly “Welcome to Kaluz.”
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor wait lists.
• Make and manage reservations within the appropriate availability, party size, and time slot.
• Escort guests to assigned dining, patio, bar, or lounge areas.
• Provide menus any other necessary items for guest use and inform the guest of their server’s name (if known).
• Bid farewell to departing guests (holding door as available).
• Coordinate and communicate with service team about any reservations requiring special attention or needs (celebrations, etc.).
• Maintain a clean lobby and reception area.
• Acknowledge and cater to any guests that need extra attention (wheelchairs, children, elderly, etc.).
• Answer phones in a timely fashion and address guest questions as they occur.
• Follow up on timely and consistent bathroom checks (insuring cleanliness, items stocked and replenished as needed, spot sweeping, etc.)
• Assist waitstaff as needed with maintaining a clean dining room, bussing tables, sweeping floors, etc.
• Attend any department and / or food safety / alcohol safety meetings to keep compliance with company policies.
