Arizona is Hiring a Student Support Coordinator II (Extended Temporary) Near Tucson, AZ

Coordinate caseload of undergraduate students to help them succeed at UArizona
Organize and facilitate student support including the following areas: academics, financial aid, lesson planning, time management, participating in mock observations and provide students feedback if they request it, classroom management, applying to teaching jobs, resumes, cover letters, financial planning, applying to graduate school, etc
Work with the Director and appropriate staff to develop and monitor students’ academic and career goals and document progress in participants’ files
Maintain and update student records
Communicate with departments across campus to problem solve and provide student support
Mentor and tutor students to prepare them to pass their NES teaching certification exam in order to obtain their teaching license. Tutor students in their math courses (that are specific to teaching majors: Math 106, Math 302A, Math 302B, Math 302E)
Assist with recruitment efforts and collection of academic data to support the project's evaluation
