- Develop and lead an independent research agenda centered on theoreticaland computational methods; disseminate work through publications andpresentations; contribute to public-engagement opportunities.
- Implement and/or develop research initiatives, groups and/orcollaborations, publications, and/or events (talks, workshops, visitorprograms, etc.) as needed and relevant to defined and independent researchagendas and that support an equitable and diverse scholarly environment inresearch, mentoring, and service.
- Collaborate with theoretical and/or observational department facultyand scholars, including organizing collaborative meetings, supervising andmentoring graduate and undergraduate students, and supporting an inclusiveacademic environment.
- Additional duties as assigned.
