Finance:

• Work, and provide expertise, on budget& planning day-to-day matters in the college and its units
• Represent the Assistant Dean, Finance& Administration and the college at meetings at all levels of the UA
• Advise the Assistant Dean, Finance &Administration on research & financial matters
• Participate in budget planning across thecollege
• Perform RCM/AIB reporting and planning
• Perform reporting, tracking, &reconciliation tasks
• College reviewer and approver ofcollege-wide MSS transactions.
• Oversee the flow of revenues to thecollege and into its units
• Perform fiscal officer responsibilitiesfor the college
• Complete special projects and participateon committees and work groups
• Advise employees on business andfinancial matters

ResearchAdministration:

• Supervise, train and mentor businesspersonnel across the college
• Serve as college-level approver forUAccess Research (UAR) routing of grant proposals through Sponsored Projects& Contracting Services.
• Supervise SBS business center support forgrant proposal budget development, UAR routing, and post-award financialmanagement.
• Directly support budget development forcomplex, high-priority grant proposals.
• Collaborate with the Director of SBSResearch Institute (SBSRI) to facilitate and connect proposal developmentservices.
• Serve as Fiscal Officer for SBS ResearchInstitute.
• Collaborate with SBS Tech and Space andFacilities personnel on information technology and facilities components ofgrant proposals.
• Develop and implement best practices,workflows, and trainings for grant budget development and proposalrouting.
• Advise the Assistant Dean, Finance &Administration and Associate Dean, Research on financial management ofsponsored projects.
• Additional duties as assigned.
