· Schedule: Monday– Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Occasional Mandatory Overtime
· Pay Rate: Up to $1000 a week PLUS OVERTIME (Negotiable based on experience)
· Lunch: 45 Min
· Start ASAP!
Job Description for Facility Maintenance Technician
- Maintain and repair propagation and greenhouses as well as the office building and warehouse.
- Maintain plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems, including running diagnostics, troubleshooting and replacing worn or defective parts on 3 phase motors.
- Replace worn or damaged hoses, PVC, Copper, and Galvanized pipes, and wiring or belts in machines and equipment.
- Empty dumpsters using a forklift.
- Operate heavy equipment to dig trenches for water and sewer pipes.
- Perform general building and facilities maintenance following a work order log
- Diagnose and solve HVAC issues.
- Receive written work orders or verbal instructions from Maintenance Manager and Supervisor.
- Be a backup for the custodian.
Job Requirements for Facility Maintenance Technician
- Plumbing, HVAC, and electrical experience required
- Must be able to physically lift between 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in hot, humid, and cold environments.
- Able to work at various heights.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Must have a valid driver license.
Education for Facility Maintenance Technician
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
