Our company is a growing Home Textile distributor based in Northern Virgina; we are actively looking to add an experienced, friendly, and dedicated sales manager to our growing operation!
The sales manager will join our fantastic work culture, report directly to the CEO and enjoy a competitive salary and unlimited bonuses! Our ideal candidate will be adept at communicating with personnel of all levels, including front line staff and C-level executives. The focus of the role is to grow the overall sales department, review current procedures and implement new initiatives to take the sales department to the next level. You’ll also manage other sales staff, ensure new pipelines and prospects are investigated and assist with the development and implementation of marketing strategies!

Responsibilities:
- Establish new accounts with mass retailers in US and Canada Identify new sales channels for various product categories.
Develop effective marketing strategies and implement initiatives and timelines to improve lead generation and customer retention.
Develop and implement marketing plans with competitive analysis, market research, brand positioning, strategies to reach target audiences and meet sales goals
Prepare sales data sheets and samples to prospective customers and remote sales reps. Coordinate all elements of trade hows/conferences.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales management within a retail environment
Minimum of two years experience selling to mass retailers in any product category.
Demonstrated ability to increase sales growth.
Able to effectively manage, motivate and encourage a sales team, including independent sales representatives.
Strong time management skills
Able to meet and exceed targets and deadlines.
Self-motivated and able to motivate the team by your success model
Ability to become a subject matter expert on the products the business sells.
Driven, flexible, honest and forward-thinking problem solvers.
Ability to be persistent and creative in securing new customers
